Subject: Windows 7 Professional - IE8/9 Cannot Access Domino SSL Sites
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Domino Server
Technical Area: Administration
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5.2
Reproducible: Always

Hello -

I hope someone can help me with this issue I have been unable to resolve:

Users on Windows 7 Professional are unable to access Domino hosted SSL enabled websites when using IE8 or IE9. I am uncertain about IE7 since I do not know how to install it over 8/9.

I have tried everything I can think of including enabling everything in security. I have been able to get it working on my home PC with Windows 7 Home Edition and have exported the Internet registry settings from that machine and imported them into the problem machine to no avail. Users are able to access other SSL sites, just not ones hosted on Domino. I have even set up a local Domino server and am able to get to the http site, but not https.

Has anyone seen this before? Any advice is appreciated. I'm at the end of my rope with this!

Robert
